Jess Glass is a freelance journalist with experience in court reporting, LGBT journalism and investigations.

Most of their time is currently spent working as a court reporter for CourtNewsUK, where their work regularly appears in multiple national outlets.

They completed their NCTJ Diploma in Multimedia Journalism at News Associates, generously supported by the Journalism Diversity Fund.

As well as court reporting, Jess regularly covers other news and writes a variety of features and comment pieces on a freelance basis.

Jess previously worked as a reporter for PinkNews, covering news, investigations, arts and features.

For their coverage of trans issues and news, Jess was part of a team nominated for a National Press Award for Reporting Diversity from the Society of Editors.

In May 2019 Jess graduated from their MSc in Gender Studies at Birkbeck, University of London.

Their friends are thrilled they finally finished their thesis (and with a first too.)

Jess has also worked on a local level at SW Londoner, covering news in the south-west of London.

Jess is non-binary and use they/them pronouns. They are currently available for freelance work.
