Jess Glass is a freelance journalist with experience in LGBT journalism, local news, investigations and court reporting.

They are currently studying for their NCTJ Diploma in Multimedia Journalism at News Associates, generously supported by the Journalism Diversity Fund.

As well as news, Jess regularly covers entertainment stories, film and theatre reviews and has written a wide range of features and comment pieces.

Jess’ court reports have appeared in a number of national outlets, including The Sun and MailOnline.

They have also had their work aggregated by outlets including Indy100and The Guardian.

Jess recently completed a Master’s Degree in Gender and Sexuality at Birkbeck College, University of London.

During their undergraduate degree Jess worked with The Boar, the student paper of Warwick University, covering a variety of stories in the arts, the occasional comment piece and one news story about a racist swan.

They live in Milton Keynes with their three cats (and grandmother) and identify as non-binary.
